Platelet Rich Fibrin
Platelet Rich Fibrin is a collagen stimulating material made from your own blood product. It is similar to Platelet Rich Plasma, however it is spun in a centrifuge at a lower speed so that the layers of blood do not separate as much. This allows the important whit blood cells to be included in the fibrin matrix, white blood cells play an important role in release of growth factors. Once the fibrin matrix is injected back into the treatment area it forms a clot that catches stem cells and growth factors in the area, allowing them to regrow collagen and rejuvenate all the layers of skin. Therefore there are more healing factors in PRF than PRP and less blood is taken to produce it.
